Beauregard Fine Art specializes in developing collections of art for both the seasoned and the new art collector. Our artists represent a wide range of contemporary art beginning with the abstract expressionists from the 1940s. The owner has a special relationship to this period of art as many of the artists came from the Hans Hofmann school started both in New York City and Provincetown, Cape Cod. The owner has been going to the Cape for over 40 years and has developed close connections with many of the artists from this area. Although the gallery specializes in abstract expressionist art it also promotes many contemporary artists ranging in style from french impressionism to hyper realism.
The gallery promotes their primary artists through a series of receptions that showcase current work. Generally, the gallery hosts a reception every six to ten weeks. This gives the potential art collector the opportunity to meet the artist and discuss the work. The receptions are a great opportunity to meet other collectors and get a personal feel for the work.
The gallery recommends that the collector select work they like and in order to ensure that the pieces work well in the home we encourage the collector to bring a series of pieces home and "try them out".
Beauregard wants to develop long term relationships with collectors as well as artists so we aim to please.
