About Cathy Oswandel Interior Designer:

Cathy comes to Interior Design with a background in Theatre, as a professional dancer and Radio City Music Hall Rockette. She sees many parallels between Theatre and the Design World. She studied Architecture and Design at the New York School of Interior Design and Parsons School of Design. She has headed her own Interior Design business for over thirty years. Her clients range from New Jersey, New York, Arizona and California. She feels, having a small design firm allows her to work closely with her clients and provide personal attention to all aspects of the design process.
Cathy has lived and traveled throughout the United States and Europe. She recently spent twelve years living in and traveling to England. She took advantage of this opportunity to study English design and her passion for Antiques and Art. Trips to France, Italy, and other European countries and throughout Great Britain and Ireland broadened her design experience.
Although she works in all areas of design, from Country to Traditional to Contemporary, she enjoys an Eclectic mix of simple, comfortable furnishings, accented by wonderful Art, Antiques and interesting Accessories.
'Sheep's Run' is Cathy's fourth Designer Show House in Monmouth County, including 'Scothigh', the VNA Designer Show House in Rumson, in 2007. Her work has been published in House Beautiful, New Jersey Design Magazine and New York Spaces Magazine.
